Our House

A Stone-built late 19th Century "Fishermans cottage" [built circa 1880], End terrace house with parking, situated on Shadycombe Road close to the town centre & health centre, with easy access to Salcombe's picturesque waterfront, shops, pubs and restaurants and slipways to the estuary.

The accommodation has been fully refurbished & extended in 2007 to a high standard throughout and has views of South Pool Creek from two of the bedrooms.  Furnished with a rustic-modern feel and all mod cons including gas central heating.

Accommodation

The house is over 3 floors, and can be accessed either from the front entrance or at the rear of the property from the parking area. The downstairs area is open plan with lounge, dining area and kitchen.



Bedrooms on the top floors comfortably sleeps 6, with a fold up bed for that extra guest

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Three bedrooms in total, all double beds, all decorated individually, (two on the first floor and third on the top floor). The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom comprises of a shower wet room, w.c. and wash-hand basin. Bedroom three has its own sink and has an extra fold up bed

​Note

All bed linen and towels are provided, you would be required to bring beach towels.

Living spaces

Comfortably furnished open plan living area with sofas, chairs, widescreen TV, DVD, Bose docking station, a dining table with eight chairs. The dining area lies between the kitchen and living area. Fully fitted kitchen comprising fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas oven and hob.

Outdoor spaces

 

Outdoors there is a stone walled courtyard garden, established planting, wooden decking with an outside dining table & chairs and garden bench.
 

Off-road parking for one car to the rear of the property. 





 

Note

Smoking and pets in the house is not permitted



This is very much our home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.​
